Big Saturday night lottery jackpots
It’s the weekend and that can only mean one thing…lotteries! Saturday night is the home of lottery draws, with balls being drawn from the UK to Australia and just about everywhere in between. There are a number of big Saturday night lottery jackpots that are up for grabs tonight, including the massive $70 million US Powerball Lotto jackpot and the €22.9 million SuperEnalotto jackpot.
Unusually, the Canada 6/49 Lotto draw boasts one of the world’s biggest lottery jackpots, standing at a huge CAN$55 million. This is ahead of the EuroMillions, EuroJackpot and the Oz Powerball, just behind the two US multi-state lottery draws – Powerball ($70 million) and Mega Millions ($74 million).
EuroMillions Lottery offers the world’s biggest lottery jackpot
If you’re the kind of player who likes to hunt out the biggest lottery jackpots around then you’ll want to buy tickets for tomorrow night’s £110 million EuroMillions draw, which boasts the biggest lottery jackpot in the world at the moment.
Last Friday, the EuroMillions hosted its first SuperDraw of the year, featuring a guaranteed £85 million (€100 million) jackpot but the massive prize wasn’t won, so it rolled over to the Tuesday night draw. On Tuesday night, anticipation was high but the elusive rollover jackpot just wouldn’t be won. This meant that the prize rolled over again, making tomorrow night’s EuroMillions Lottery jackpot a massive £110 million (€130 million).
Biggest Euromillions jackpot of the year
Friday night saw the first planned Euromillions Super draw of the year, boasting a jackpot of €100 million guaranteed. However, no one matched all seven numbers in Friday’s draw and that means the biggest jackpot of the year this Tuesday as the Euromillions Lottery jackpot exceeds €110 million!
If you haven’t checked Friday night’s Euromillions news and results then it’s probably time to do so, as the jackpot may have rolled but there were some big winners.
US Powerball jackpot at $103 million
At any given time a single lottery jackpot will be the biggest in the world and this weekend that honour goes to the US Powerball jackpot, making headlines with a staggering $103 million rollover on offer.
No one has won the Powerball jackpot since one player from Virginia scooped $217 million on February 6th. That’s more than double tonight’s top prize, but who knows what will happen.
SuperEnalotto boasts biggest European jackpot
There aren’t many Thursday night lottery draws, but one notable lottery has its second draw of the week tonight, and it’s quite a jackpot. In Italy the SuperEnalotto boasts the biggest jackpot available anywhere in Europe and at an estimated €48 million it’s attracting a lot of interest.
At any given time, odds are that the big Euromillions or EuroJackpot will provide Europe’s biggest lottery jackpot, as they are played across several countries and often see big rollovers, but not this week as the Italian jackpot is soaring and causing a frenzy of ticket sales.
