UK Lotto jackpot shared, but second prize creates only millionaire
Tonight’s UK Lotto jackpot was an exciting one as always, and the jackpot came in above estimate at £4.8 million. Five lucky players matched all the winning numbers, collecting £968,000 each, but in an unprecedented turn of events, just one person matched five numbers and the Bonus, collecting £1.4 million, the biggest prize of the evening!
The draw was much bigger than expected this evening, with almost £13 million paid out in prize money, but the second prize winner collecting more than the jackpot winners is virtually unheard of, and in our memory has never happened before.

Euromillions jackpot must be won this Friday
There have been many rule changes regarding the Euromillions jackpot, how high it can get and what the jackpot cap is set at. In February a new rule change indicated that the Euromillions can never roll past €190 million, and all other funds will roll down to the lower prize tiers.
It was this rule that meant players matching five numbers and one Lucky Star last night collected a massive €2.3 million each. Those players were the biggest winners of the evening, but another rule change in February means that Friday’s EuroMillions jackpot must be won!

Euromillions to hold biggest ever draw this Friday
The London Olympics 2012 is about to start, and all eyes are on the UK, but it’s not the only reason people are interested in the UK right now, as thanks to a special extra UK Euromillions draw and a rollover, the Euromillions is to hold its biggest ever draw this Friday.
After another rollover on the Euromillions last night, the jackpot is a staggering €140/£105 million for Friday’s draw. It’s not the biggest ever jackpot, but the Millionaire Raffle has also promised one hundred £1 million prizes to celebrate the launch of the London Olympics 2012.
