Record jackpot pool for the Lotto Max Canada

Since the Lotto Max Canada launched it’s been at Maxmillions stage more times than can be counted. However, with another Friday night with no winner, there’s a record jackpot pool for the Lotto Max Canada next week, totalling $100 million.

That means lottery players in Canada have fifty chances to become a millionaire, as 50 sets of Maxmillions numbers will be drawn in addition to the main $50 million Lotto Max draw.

No one matched all the winning numbers in last night’s Lotto Max draw and they were 10 – 14 – 20 – 28 – 35 – 40 – 42; Bonus Ball 44. The biggest winners in the draw are two players who win almost $400,000 each for matching the second tier prize.

In the Maxmillions draws just five of the jackpots were won, and they are as follows:

  • 01 – 08 – 15 – 23 – 24 – 32 – 46: Two players share $1 million
  • 02 – 06 – 07 – 14 – 21 – 36 – 38: One player collects $1 million
  • 03 – 11 – 13 – 24 – 29 – 40 – 41: One player collects $1 million
  • 11 – 20 – 31 – 33 – 37 – 47 – 48: One player collects $1 million
  • 13 – 22 – 28 – 32 – 40 – 46 – 49: One player collects $1 million

As regular players will know, the Lotto Max jackpot cannot exceed $50 million and so for every $1 million the prize pool goes over $50 million there is one $1 million Maxmillions draw. Thanks to a rollover last night, the Lotto Max prize pool has now reached $100 million and that means a $50 million main Lotto Max draw and fifty Maxmillions draws, one of the biggest draws ever seen on the Lotto Max. Good luck everyone!
