In the UK last night, a Lotto jackpot worth £6.7 million went up for grabs in the UK, as no one matched all the winning numbers in the midweek draw. The jackpot exceeded estimate and ticket sales were high, but no one has matched all the winning numbers yet again, which means a midweek UK Lotto double rollover worth around £9.3 million.

It’s the first jackpot of this size since May when the UK Lotto saw a triple rollover jackpot, and that’s likely to mean a rush on ticket sales before the draw on Wednesday evening.

Around £9 million was paid out in prize money after last night’s draw, including five lucky players who matched the 5+1 prize to collect over a £273,000 each.
