Canada Lotto Max at Maxmillions yet again
It’s been a week for big lottery jackpot wins, and several of the world’s biggest jackpots have been scooped again, but one lottery draw is bucking the trend, and has a big rollover jackpot up for grabs next week. The Lotto Max in Canada rolled again last night, taking the lottery to Maxmillions for the next draw.
The Lotto Max Canada is capped at $50 million, which means this is the biggest jackpot that can be won. However, the money isn’t lost, once the jackpot gets to this stage, Maxmillions kicks in, providing another $1 million lottery jackpot for every $1 million over $50 million the jackpot climbs.
As next Friday’s Lotto Max jackpot pool is an estimated $64 million, this means that lottery players will have even more chances to win this Friday. Ticket sales work the same as usual, and if you match all the winning numbers in the Lotto Max draw then you’ll be collecting a $50 million lottery jackpot. However, even if you don’t win, you could still be a $1 million winner in one of the Maxmillions draws, of which there will be an estimated 14 next Friday.
It’s a fairly unique lottery draw, and it’s easy to see why it’s very popular. Canadian Lottery players are likely to go wild for the draw, and so expect ticket sales to be through the roof.
Before then, players do have a chance at tonight’s Lotto 6-49 jackpot, a little more modest at $3.5 million.
