Big lottery jackpots this Saturday night
With the EuroMillions Lottery jackpot being won last night and the US Powerball Lotto jackpot being claimed a week ago, you may think that there are no big prizes out there currently but you’d be wrong. There are still plenty of big lottery jackpots this Saturday evening, with prizes of up to $50 million to play for.
Even though it was won just seven days ago by a lucky ticket holder from New Jersey, US, the Powerball Lotto jackpot is the biggest of the world’s lottery jackpots that can be won tonight. We’re not looking at the monster jackpot offerings of a week or two ago but there are still plenty of life-changing chunks of cash floating about, waiting to be won.
Biggest Euromillions jackpot of the year
Friday night saw the first planned Euromillions Super draw of the year, boasting a jackpot of €100 million guaranteed. However, no one matched all seven numbers in Friday’s draw and that means the biggest jackpot of the year this Tuesday as the Euromillions Lottery jackpot exceeds €110 million!
If you haven’t checked Friday night’s Euromillions news and results then it’s probably time to do so, as the jackpot may have rolled but there were some big winners.
Irish Lottery results, Wednesday 13th March 2013
With no winner at the weekend, the midweek Irish Lottery jackpot is a massive €3 million, but will we find a winner this evening? There has been no winner for a couple of draws now creating this big rollover, and as tonight’s results are now in, it’s time to find out if we have a winner!

A week ago today, the Irish Lottery results certainly came in for one lucky ticket holder from Dublin, who matched all six main lottery balls in the main Lotto draw to win the €6,437,577 multi-rollover jackpot. This meant that it was back to €2 million for the jackpot but, as it rolled over on Wednesday, we’re now looking at a €2.5 million jackpot for tonight’s draw.

EuroJackpot results, Friday 8th March 2013
It’s Friday night and our last lottery results of the night come from Helsinki. Tonight’s EuroJackpot results could be making one lucky ticket holder €21 million richer if the defy the odds and match all five main balls plus the two bonus balls. The jackpot really is gaining momentum but was it brought to an abrupt halt or did it rollover yet again?

Last Wednesday night we were talking about a €10.6 million Irish Lotto rollover jackpot but during last week’s draw the jackpot was finally won…and not by hurling legend Lar Corbett, as many media agencies originally reported. Instead, it was an anonymous winner from Tipperary who grabbed to top prize. So, tonight’s Irish Lotto results won’t be making anybody quite as rich as last week’s mystery winner but it could make you €2.5 million better off.
The Irish Lotto may not climb at the rate of the EuroMillions or the US Powerball Lotto, which currently has a $208 million jackpot to play for but you are much more likely to match all six number playing the Irish Lotto than you are to match five plus one in the Powerball draw or five plus two in the EuroMillions draw.
